The site was originally created in 1998 by the then Clerk to the Council, Chris Wilkinson. In 2011 the site was take over by GTW Solutions Ltd and comprehensively upgraded and used Silverstripe CMS to produce a corporate appearance.
In 2014 following the upgrading of the servers Silverstripe failed to work on the new system and although great efforts were made to follow the upgrade procedures any chance had to be abandoned.
The site is now operating on Joomla Helix CMS and is being comprehensively updated. The information on the site will be updated in the period up to June 2016.
